Rapide Print and Packaging are successfully relocated into our Mildenhall site. We are now the only company within East Anglia to manufacture commercial print, carton board packaging, corrugated packaging and Point of Purchase displays under one roof... a true one stop shop.

Building work is well under way on our new warehouse. Due to come on stream in September this warehouse will add significant capacity to our stock and serve operation and will also allow us to further expand our fulfilment service.

Rapide Print and Packaging is acquired. Rapide has been serving the East Anglian market with commercial print and carton board packaging since 1971. They have a superb reputation for their attention to detail, quality of print and overall levels of customer satisfaction. Rapide will be relocated to our Mildenhall operation in July ’08.

Our new creative design department iscomplete, allowing us to offer even more visually stunning display and packaging solutions.

Bar code scanning is added to our Goods Inwards area to give greater control over incoming materials. This is due to be rolled out into our despatch area later in the year, thereby improving further our stock control and loading out procedures.

Corrutex is born. Following 12 months of extensive research and development a revolutionary new material is brought to life. Corrutex ...“A combination of speciality embossed and dyed papers, manufactured on a corrugator to create a visually stunning and highly protective corrugated material”.

Speciality finishing equipment installed
In order to eliminate a large proportion of hand glueing within our display division we have installed a specialist two piece gluer. This machine also has the ability to produce single and two piece large format stitched cartons.

Additional diecutting capacity added
Due to ongoing demand for bespoke diecuts we have added a further large format automatic flatbed diecutter. This also involved extensive upgrading to the plants waste extraction system.
